Born in Canning Town, East London. Like all Londoners, I am mixed race. The Irish bit brought me into politics. Lucky enough (and old enough) to remember Tony Benn in a British cabinet!

Served 6 years of a 22 year sentence for Conspiracy to cause explosions, released under the Good Friday Agreement in 1998. Active in Sinn Fein until 2007. Trying to keep an open mind and broad left non-alligned focus now. Composing music and writing books. 'Maybe It's Because...' hopefully being published soon.
