A three-time Best Techno DJ in the World award winner and one of the pioneering figures of electronic music in Spain and Europe, the Spanish DJ, producer and composer has spent over 35 years pushing the genre forward with one principle: music must always have a soul.
Raised in a family of classical music, theatre and dance, Varela developed a unique musical foundation that made him one of international Techno's most respected figures.
Founder of Pornographic Recordings and Black Codes Experiments, he has released on labels including Toolroom Trax, Primate, Intec, Materia and OAKS. Beyond the stage, he inspires new generations through masterclasses and his Bloop London Radio show, broadcast in over 50 countries.
