Van Allen's music is rooted in slowburn downtempo house, blending dubby percussion, trippy rhythmic acid chugs and 3am cosmic vibes from beyond the Van Allen Belt. Van Allen is not Dutch; he is not called Allen and he does not own a van. Van Allen has also remixed under the name 'Lardkid', and was once discretely sick on Boy George’s record-box in the late 1990s.
