Founded between 2012 and 2013, V is the monicker under which Valerio Lanieri writes, produces and performs stoner rock music. Halfway between a classic stoner rock revival in the vein of Kyuss and a mixture of other genres, such as funky and Tool-like odd meters, V's sound is progressive yet down to earth, as a finely tattooed arm that dazzles you before hitting you right in the stomach.

V's current line up features metal masterminds Filippo Capponi Brunetti (bass) and Alessio Silvioli (drums), stage veterans and crowd heaters from the Italian oower metal band Lost In Oblivion. Production wise, eclectic musician/artist/producer Riccardo Fringuelli took care of Fell From Grace, V's first album.
