Born in New York, and raised in Uruguay, Marcelo Pereyra / UzCode / has Latin-American roots.
His music journal started at high school when one of his best friends introduced him to his first instrument / The Guitar / which got him into his first steps in music, at that time Rock n' Roll and Hard Rock. During that period, he played with different bands and in several places until 2011 when he decided to move back to New York in order to pursue his music career.
In 2015, Marcelo found himself fascinated by Electronic music / Techno-House / which got him into Djing and later on into Production.
His music influences include Deborah De Luca, The Martinez Brothers, Nick Warren, Mateo & Matos, Groove Armada, Ricardo Villalobos, Sonny Fodera just to name a few.
In his sets UzCode is best known for his groovy and hypnotic rythims, with elements of minimal, techno and house.
