I played this about four years ago, and it certainly has stunning views. We had a gorgeous sunny day with little wind. However, I was also struck by the fact that there was virtually no one else around in the middle of the day; we saw exactly one foursome on the course the entire time we were there (I played as a single with my young boy caddying). I thought there is no way this course is going to make it - built entirely for rich American golf tourists and the like; no self-respecting Scotsman will go near the place for 200 pounds per round (Scots, God love them, being notoriously cheap themselves). Did the course have much action when you visited, and does it seem to be capable of making it financially, or does it have a deep-pocketed owner who doesn't mind carrying the thing on his back?
