Urban Roots is a collective of individuals from all walks of life on the Southside of Glasgow who believe in taking action to create a better future.

We have community gardens, a woodland, a food coop, environmental arts projects, and loads more.

Urban Roots is a collective of all sorts of people - different backgrounds, different ages - who are based (mostly) on the southside of Glasgow and believe that if we work together we can create a postive future.

we grow lots of food in the community gardens and we try to get other people to do the same thing! we also look after Malls Mire - a beautiful are of woodland and marshlands hidden away in the city. we use the woods sustainably, coppicing and thinning and making spoons, bowls and furniture out of the timber.

we also do lots of work around climate change education empowering people to do stuff that can make a real difference. like growing food ;)
