Nigel Kerr currently works during the day talking to people and trying to help them secure deliveries for their goods. He has served 12 years in the RAF as an assistant air traffic controller and a further 12 years with the Prison Service amongst other positions. Other crimes include being a radio presrnter for FM independent local radio stations; KLFM in Kings Lynn, Lite FM in Peterborough, Oxygen FM in Oxford, and 107.9 The Eagle in Cambridge to name but... mutter mutter... four!
When he's not talking to people on the phone, he's talking to people on the internet radio station Veterans Radio Net. It's a charity supported radio station run for and by armed forces personnel. He has produced and presented radio shows, created packages for stations and even now loves creating audio for his own shows.
In his spare time he's from Yorkshire so is friendly and affable but takes no bull! His Facebook page @thesoulfunktion brings you all the latest news on his weekly soul, funk and disco show.
