D'welle is an experimental music collective working across ambient, drone, pressure ambient, hauntology and minimalist electroacoustic composition. Their long-form works explore perception, presence, memory and the relationship between listener and environment through repetition, silence and gradual transformation.
Rather than conventional narrative, we construct sonic environments intended to be inhabited. Sustained drones, processed field recordings, granular textures, degraded tape, restrained noise and minimal harmonic movement allow subtle changes in density and space to become compositional events. Negative space is treated as materially as sound itself.
