Most of my 2012 was spent in Montréal, the party capital of North America. I really had a great time enjoying all the multicultural music the city has to offer. To my great pleasure, I could also give back by DJ-ing at Nuvo Tumbao and participating at Masala radio. Unfortunately, I had to leave this wonderful city but I will forever keep my sweet memories. Dios Mio Que Viva Montréal!
The multicultural vibe is well illustrated in my mix, as around 25% of the tracks are Canadian. These tracks cover a variety of genres, like cumbia, creole dancehall, first nation bass, afrobeat, balkan, and Québec party music. Another source of inspiration was Africa, especially Ghanian azonto. Of course, I didn't forget my roots, throwing in a few tracks from the Baltic sea region. I hope you enjoy the show!
