Istanbul, Turkey

Some people discover music. I inherited it.
Born into vinyl. Long before I understood what a record was, the needle was already dropping. Pink Floyd, Tool, Dire Straits, Metallica, Daft Punk, Michael Jackson, Interpol — a collection built across decades, still alive on a turntable at home. Vinyl was never nostalgia for me. It was just how music sounded.
Then 1996 arrived with Leftfield's Leftism and rewired everything. That record cracked something open — the same intensity I felt in rock and metal, but deeper, more hypnotic, more physical. That tension never left.
Istanbul-based. The records changed. The obsession never did. Different needle, same hunger — Leftfield opened the door and it never closed.
