In 1976, aged 1, I took my first ever steps. I walked across the room towards my fathers Garrard turntable. I've loved music ever since. I bought my first record age 5. My 1st stint as a DJ came in 1991 when I DJ'ed a school disco using cassettes. I started using turntables in 1995. I taught myself to mix from scratch using belt drives before moving on to a set of Technics a few years later.

After 5 years of playing basements & bedrooms me & some friends set up the promotions company FunkyDory in 1999 & secured a weekend Residency at the Slug & Lettuce, Cardiff. We also held a very successful annual DJ competition on a Thursday.

My break came in 2001 when I won the best up & coming DJ at the inaugural welsh dance music awards. Our FunkyDory event also won best pre club bar two years running. As a result, I have gone on to hold a number of local residencies & play at numerous events, the most notable being Gatecrasher NYE, The Radio 1 Big Weekend & the Vocal Booth Weekender.
