1200 is an Enthusiast, a Disc Jockey, and a Composer/Remixer. 1200 is a “Technologist.”

At a young age 1200 had a strong interest in music. His first party experience was a Detroit warehouse party in 2000; the atmosphere, and underground sound left him more intrigued with the scene. Later that year, a new friend introduced him to vinyl and a set of decks. Over the years 1200 practiced many aspects of DJing, honing his skills through House music. Although House music played a major role in his development as a DJ, it wasn’t until 2007 when he discovered his true passion with Techno. The rest, as they say, is history.

1200 has now brought down the house at venues across the United States and Canada; however, as with his unique signature sounds, he will always be a Detroit thing at heart. Currently he is focused on composing and remixing music, extending his reach to encompass a wider audience by expanding his label, and reinvigorating the scene with something fresh.
