Austria
DJ Turnmaster Tim has been behind the decks since the early 1990s – back then, in classic style, flanked by two turntables. As a trained hip-hop turntablist, his gigs soon took him to clubs and festivals across Austria and beyond.
Alongside DJing, he played in various bands and collaborated with numerous musicians.
In the late 90s, he helped shape Vienna’s club scene, secured Levi’s as a sponsor for selected clubs during the Flat Eric campaign, and became resident DJ at the legendary Ambasada Gavioli in Slovenia.
In the early 2000's he later moved to the Croatian coast, where he worked with the pioneering Valkana Beach Festival and helped shape the region’s club and festival culture.
Back in Graz, he became head of marketing and PR for springfestival, that time Austrian's leading festival for electronic art and music.
Today, Turnmaster Tim stands for carefully curated sets beyond genres and trends – driven by groove, atmosphere and a refined sense of rhythm and dramaturgy.
