At the age of 7, Troy found himself involved in modelling and choreography, which led to competitive dance and a progressive desire to be on the other side of the sound waves. Eventually community, social and corporate events like Manifesto, Toronto's G20 Summit, Toronto's Annual Poetry Slam; working as a radio engineer for the reggae based program "Morning Ride" on 89.5 fm, as well as having his music featured at Toronto Men's Fashion Week; all paved the way for his own radio broadcast years later streamed through iLive Radio under the name "Soul Transportation".

​As the former DJ for Toronto based performing producer and songwriter Beatchild (previously known as Slakah the Beatchild), Troys catalog also includes brief work with Vibe Music Collective member Iman Omari, performing live with Illa J (Brother of J Dilla), studio time with England's own Omar Lye-Fook; in addition to creating soulful platforms with both international and local established and upcoming artists.
