Formed around the dreaming spires of Aston University in the late eighties; The Trophy Cabinet launched their intelligent indie on the active Birmingham music scene. Winning several band competitions The Trophy Cabinet gained recognition locally before taking a short 20 year break to pursue conventional careers. Songwriting continued, but reformed as a live act in 2010 with a successful support slot with The Wedding Present.

The Trophy Cabinet are now playing as a 5 piece, have ditched the drum machine for a real drummer and re arranged our sets for a truly relevant and up to date indie sound....now based in Oxford, actively gigging (and seeking more) and enjoying renewed enthusiasm for our songs on the active Oxford music scene.
