DJ Miss Brown

Trish Preston, a.k.a DJ Miss Brown has been spinning vinyl for more than 20 years & is fiercely passionate about music and dance. She skillfully combines her broad eclectic musical up-bringing, with her knowledge and experience from the late 80’s, early 90’s underground club/dance scene from London UK, together with her many years working as a professional dancer into all of her DJ sets.
Coming from a Soul, Funk, Jazz, Blues, Disco, Raregrooves, psychedelic rock, Brit-Pop, Hip Hop, Ska, Reggae, & Classical background, her styles broaden out to Dancehall, Acid Jazz, Trip Hop, Afrobeats, Latin Grooves, World Music, Electro & Electronic, Breakbeats, Jungle/Drum’n’Bass, Dub-Step, Brokenbeats, Garage & Deep House...
More recently, she has started deejaying & dancing Forro, a beautiful style of music and dance from North-East Brazil. This is the place where she feels most at home, combining her two biggest passions of dance and Deejaying together.
