Hi, my name is Chris Allen and I am the host of New Adventures in Dance Music. Playing 100% brand new promos from across the dance music world. Every show comprises new tracks from seasoned pros and unsigned artists!

I was a Rave, Techno, Trance and House DJ in Cornwall between 1991 and 1997, and regularly played at The Shire Horse, St.Ives. Strawberry Fields, Hayle. Club Zeus, Hayle. The Venue, Penzance. Tall Trees, St. Austell. Club Hades, St. Austell. The ISO Bar, St.Ives. I also played once at the Warehouse in Plymouth, Cavern Bar in Soho and other house parties around the country.

All mixes were using Vinyl LP, 12" records on Technics 1210 Turntables and a variety of mixers. Never used CD mixers or any other technology, beat mixing at that time was a skill practiced over time.
