My hope for this residency is to expand my sound into where sexy bathhouse grooves meet my love for the dance floor... where all of it goes down in the same sonic space. A blend of relaxed, beach vibe tech house with deep beats and and a groove that'll move you whether you're on your feet, on your back, or however else you want it.
In addition to playing deeper sounds while focusing more on nuance, I hope to improve my on-the-fly track selection skills (particularly around smooth multi-track energy builds) and to get closer to perfecting the levels/smoothness/tightness of the mix. I'm also working on the overall sound quality in relation to the setup at the venue. Bear with me as I get used to navigating their booth. The recording inputs and speaker output situation there takes some finesse.
