Thabiso Clifford Popela (Torque Muziq) was born in Vosloorus, Ekurhuleni and grew the passion for music from his early days as a child. He debuted onto the house music scene as a Producer/DJ in 2006 when he was introduced to Fruity loops 3, which got him to start creating his own sounds and learning how to spin the decks. He then later produced his first album titled “Bae Crush”.
The highlight of his career came after his song titled “Yini na” got included in Hott99 dance chart which was hosted by Dj Candii@ Yfm. Topping the Chart gave him much needed exposure and startup career. He went on to establish and dropping his impressive mixes “Afro Freaky Friday
