The BigBones Rock Show is broadcast form Claremorris Community Radio in Co.Mayo, Ireland on Sunday nights at 5pm (GMT). The BigBones Rock Show brings you 2 hours of the finest in Classic Rock, Prog Rock and Blues Rock. The program usually features an in-depth look at a single artist or band, but with the occasional ‘special’ such as the on-going look at Great Live Rock Albums.
With any one show I try to play 15-20 minutes from each album, usually 6 albums per program. This means some artists need 2 or 3 programs to get through their discography!
Tony BigBones has been a professional musician for nearly 30 years having played in a variety of bands from Holiday Camp and Hotel residencies to jazz, soul, country and rock bands. He plays Bass guitar, 6-string guitar, piano, keyboards and trumpet! Tony has a massive collection of CDs covering every style and era of Rock music .
