Cro Radio KW

The Croatian Radio Program is one of the longest-running programs on FM 98.5 CKWR, serving the Canadian-Croatian community since 1973.
Founded by Ivan and Kathy Radišić, the program began as a way to connect the growing Croatian community in Waterloo Region with news from Croatia and Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatian music, community information and familiar voices from home.
Tony Barukčić joined the program in 2015 as co-host and co-producer. Having immigrated to Canada in 1992, Tony remembers the program as a familiar connection to Croatian language, music and culture in his new home.
Together, Ivan, Kathy and Tony continue the program’s tradition of Croatian music, news, community announcements, conversation and entertainment. We sincerely thank our loyal listeners, near and far, for their continued support and encouragement.
