After 26 years at Philips High School and almost 33 years in teaching, I finally decided to finish my career in Education.
This was not an easy decision, but in the circumstances I found myself, whilst a sad one, I believe it to be the right one.
I will definitely miss the interaction with all my colleagues and pupils, as 26 years is a long time and I have met so many wonderful people during that period.
For that reason, I am setting up this Facebook account (partly as a request from the pupils themselves) in order to both keep in contact and re-establish contact with anyone who knew me at Philips.
I would be delighted to find out what you've all been up to. I didn't feel I could do this on Facebook whilst I was at the School... but now I've 'finished' I think that is a different matter altogether. Would love to hear from anyone... and in the words of an old 'friend' of mine... RESPECT! to you all!
