Born in Wilpshire, Blackburn--Moved to Poulton Le Fylde then ended up in Walton le Dale, Preston, moved to Leyland when I got Married to Dianne, after being in the Merchant Navy for a few years. Electrician by trade but have been doing Project management for 20 years. Started drumming when 15 and played with a local band called The Marksmen who became very popular around the Lancashire area, did a big gig at Leyton Super baths in London, support to Pepe (out of West Side story) and the New York Twisters. Did a few stints with a few other bands large and small and then joined an established local band called the JK 4, that was a very busy band sometimes gigging 4/5 times a week doing pubs and clubs. Going to work in a morning was sometimes drastic. Been back drumming for about 5 years now. l Work part time for a firm in Blackpool as Technical manager. We have 2 x black & white cats and a Border terrier dog called Billie (nickname "Doodle"). and we all live in a comfy pad in Leyland.
