I live my life by a very simple code of conduct: Every choice you make has a reward and a consequence. Weigh carefully one against the other before you make a choice. It's that simple. I hate it when people try to act like adulthood should come with a suit, a tie, and a negative disposition. Life flies by. Enjoy the fuck out of it while you can. Stop waiting for the world to align with your wishes, and get out there and make it happen. Take responsibility for your actions, and own that shit. Don't sit there blaming everyone and everything but yourself for your situation. If you want something to happen, make it happen. If you fuck up, say "Aw, shit...I fucked up." Then get over it, and take a lesson from the mistake. Regardless of who you encounter along the way, when it comes right down to it you are born alone, and you die alone.
