I started DJ-ing on a pair of belt-drive ‘Soundlabs’ in 1992 putting on squat parties in Dyers Hall Road, Leytonstone in 3x terraced house knocked through into one on a borrowed punk band’s sound system.
By 1994, armed with a pair of Technics 1210s and part of ‘Innastate Sound System’ was DJ-ing and putting on squat parties all around Hackney, London.
Not long after, KAK Sounds was born.
In a squat party scene that was predominantly Acid Techno, we were the 1st London squat party sound system playing Drum & Bass. Sold the rig in 2000.
I then formed Unit-E Sounds doing parties around London playing Nu-Skool Breaks.
Me & Phil Dekked then started doing Breakbeat Wednesday, 10- Midnight on Ruud Awakening. Our 2 hour show followed the not so famous at the time, Chase and Status.
From 2014 - 2023, I DJ’d and managed the UnFairGround Crew Bar behind the Flying Bus Stage at Glastonbury Festival.
At present you’ll find me playing Bass/Tech House at festivals and parties around the UK
