Geneva, Switzerland

Born in Geneva, Switzerland and long time member of the O.B.F Sound System family, Trinity Njume-Ebong a.k.a Mother Dubber has been digging records since 2001 and considers her vinyl collection an anthropological archive.

Her aim is to find parallels between the great African traditions and the modern sound expressions of the diaspora; starting from the West-African disco records inherited from her father, to the contemporary electronic music productions that dominated her childhood.

A strong universal struggle and alliance can be heard through her musical curation; focusing on a particular era or region with every set. She however has a particular affinity and obsession with the 88-92 era, a period of true sonic innovation, which she ultimately attributes to the technological harmony of that period.
