As one of Taiwan’s most distinctive and forward-thinking music producers, A.F first emerged as a member of Golden Melody Award–nominated band “Lie Gramophone”, before going on to spend over a decade active in the music industry. Throughout his career, he has collaborated with leading Mandarin pop artists such as E.SO, Jiajia, Hebe Tien, and Dizzy Dizzo, yet he has never been content with simply operating within the existing framework of Mandopop.
A.F possesses electronic music production skills that remain relatively rare within the Mandarin music scene. His pursuit goes beyond personal artistic ambition; through long-term dedication and hands-on practice, he aims to push Taiwanese electronic music onto the global stage, while nurturing and supporting a new generation of creators emerging from Taiwan’s subcultural scenes.
He envisions a future where “MIT” pride is no longer defined solely by TSMC, but also by the rise of electronic music from Taiwan.
