TIM ARNOLD

Commissioned by Shakespeare’s Globe aged 23 as master of music and compared to David Bowie by godfather of punk, Iggy Pop, Tim Arnold is a maverick artist whose work defies genre and category.

Composer, singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and social activist, he is widely recognised as the first artist to create a concept album about London’s Soho, BBC London’s album of the year, The Soho Hobo. Tim is also an advocate for the protection of grass roots music venues and is the founder of Save Soho, a lobbying group devoted to advancing the future of performing arts in London, and is responsible for saving iconic venue Madame Jojo’s.

“Tim has a lit a fire that won’t be put out” – STEPHEN FRY
“Tim’s haunting and compelling, it’ll be fascinating to hear what he does next.” NME
