Thomas and Victoria first met at a DJ school in Ipswich QLD back at the end of 1997. This was held at Club City Nightclub in Ipswich (now known as Cocktails Nightclub).
After the 6 week course and many nights going out to Club City we came together in April of 98.
Upon hearing our teacher retiring we started to go into talks with the owner of the club to become the resident dj's. This proved difficult due to our lack of experience.
After a lot of DJ swaps and changes we were finally put on as resident DJ's around Nov of 98.
This residency continued until the club sold and changed hands in Nov 99.
Fastforward to 2016 and Thomas and Victoria (aka Thumpa and Vypa) have once again joined forces to become Thump N Vypa. Now that the kids are older we can do what we both love and that is djing together.
