Sam returns to Forge Radio after his second summer stint at Birmingham based Rhubarb Radio.

His first radio slot was back in March 2009 when he fronted the Friday night 11pm – 1am before moving to the earlier 9.30 - 11pm slot last year.

Guests included Chase & Status, Tim Westwood, MistaJam, Rusko, Nero, Joker, High Contrast, Breakage, Jakwob, Mary Anne Hobbs, Danny Byrd and Plastician. All the hard work on the show culminated in winning Best Specialist Music Show at the 2010 Forge Media Awards.

Sam returns for one final year of student radio on the new day of Tuesday nights and will be working closely with the Union’s prestigious Tuesday Club.

Now under the mentorship of former BBC Radio 1 DJ, Mary Anne Hobbs, he has already had a host of guests on his new show including Toddla T, Sub Focus and a very special show with Rusko live in the studio.

Last year's show was nominated for a Student Radio Award in the Best Specialist Music Programming category.
