I remember exactly how it started. An attic room, two old CD players from Marktplaats, and a mixer that crackled when I touched the fader. But as soon as I had mixed those first two tracks, something happened. The room disappeared. There was only rhythm, feeling, and that one moment when everything falls into place.
It’s just like writing a beautiful book that the audience has to enjoy hearing too.

Since then, I have been DJ E.O.Y. Not because I want to become the biggest name, but because I am addicted to that moment: when a room full of strangers suddenly becomes one because the kick, the hi-hat, and the bassline come together.
