themusicologist is a frontline soldier in the war against musical banality. Born and raised on the streets of London rocking and rolling day and night to a Soul Rebel soundtrack thanks to a family of passionate and dedicated urban musicologists. First set played, (Soul, Funk & Boogie), in 1986 at the 'Whiskey' to London's Underground Funksters. Progressed to playing 'House' between 1988 - 1993. Digital Reggae from '93 to 2000. Now playing, designing and producing my own beats inspired by the urban culture that I have been a part of since birth.
