The Music Forum is a weekly music based talk show on WSUM 91.7FM Madison hosted by Max Wegmann. Each week focuses on a specific genre a music. We will explore the songs, history, theory, and some of the important artists in each genre over two one hour shows. In the first episode of each two part genre series we will spend most the hour listening to some of the important songs along with short liner notes for each track. That will be followed up by part two the following week in which we will dive deeper into the history, theory, and important artist of the genre. Approach each series as a starting point in your exploration of that genre, or as a launch pad into some really fantastic music you may not be familiar with.
