The Milkman started mixing music in '94 using dual sony tape decks to crank out daily mixtapes featuring incessant CD skipping and scratching. He saved up for a Quasimidi 309 & an MPC 2000 and formed a band called Entropy, creating loud hardcore synth tracks. His work showed heavy influence from MKE artists like Initial Intensity, Low Fidelity Index, Jape, & Shiverhead.
While fully experiencing mid 90's rave culture, he bought his first turntables and moved into jungle/D&B and trance/acid house. He started playing out at underground parties around S.E. Wisconsin and later moved out to Minneapolis where he learned how to scratch from DJ Syrum, taking a sharp turn down HipHop Lane. MPLS's rich music scene filled his record collection with 70s-90s pop/R&B wax and he shifted into the mainstream, taking bar residencies & playing to the club crowd.
Back to MKE the Milkman met DJ Optimist formed Elechronic, mixing pure party music. (http://elechronic.net, https://facebook.com/elechronic)
