As the warm summer winds that blow through the Aegean sea, The Meltemi is the welcome disruption to the stillness of a long summer. A two-piece born out of the southern beaches of Sydney, Adam Bozzetto and Byron Georgouras embrace both their European upbringing, combined with the addiction of the sea to create a unique, often world-music soundtrack.

Drawing influences from the likes of Deep Forest, Depeche Mode, Chemical Brothers, Jamie XX and Justice, Meltemi blends a mix of sample-laden and vocal driven tracks, with collaborations already in the works with Fritz Helder (Azari & III) and Alexander Burnett (Sparkadia, Antony & Cleopatra).

Kicking off the start of 2019, The Meltemi has already released two teaser tracks from their forthcoming EP, entitled Love Go and O.U.A.T. with further releases scheduled for the upcoming weeks ahead.

The duo are set for a tour later in the year to bring some Meltemi warmth to clubs and venues around the country.
