Jim Maneri produces the Friday Night Fish Fry, a one hour weekly radio show airing weekly everywhere Fridays 11PM to midnight. It's a show about party music, as well as party quips, music fun facts, and stories, but from anywhere or anywhen. Often with a theme to balance the sometimes wacky eclecticism in widely varied music styles, as we go as far outside the boxes of fun, eclecticism, deepness of rare cuts, nerdy reverence for music, and nerdier irreverence for NPR-style radio decorum as we can get away with. It's mostly danceable and all selflessly offered gratis thanks to Columbus City Schools, National Public Radio, thejimnasium studios, and our listeners & sustainin members; FNFF is produced at thejimnasium studios, time shifted via digital audio storage media to be broadcast 11PM Fridays via old-timey radio waves beamed invisibly throughout Central Ohio USA, on NPR's 90.5FM WCBE Columbus, and WCBE.org, At midnight Friday the new show streams and downloads here on Mixcloud.
