UK born producer Zahir Khan known as TheElement has been around the Underground dance music scene for over two decades, back in the late 80's and early 90's he was a major player in the underground warehouse rave and pirate radio scene , where he learned his trade as a DJ .
He played at several underground venues throughout West Yorkshire. He also had several pirate radio shows on Leeds and Bradford pirate radio stations.

Now forward to the present and TheElement is still deep inside the underground dance music scene but more into his own productions and also running two digital imprints by the names of Korner House Records were he releases TechHouse and Progressive and now he has just set up a sister label to Korner House which is called Dirty Korner Recordings were this imprint will focus on DirtyElectroHouse and Dub step .
2011 saw TheElement release on SHAXTRAX , Noobish Records , Rhinofist , Get It On Records , Mass Banger Records , Plasticage Recordings , Dirt Korner.
