The DMT Experiment are an electronic dance music project making improvised music in the moment. Given the diverse nature of the music and the innovative approach to its inception the duo have coined the term 'Omni Tech'. The music generally sticks to a solid 130bpm tempo but moves through a variety of different musical styles. With Ethnic beats from all around the world, pumping techno kicks, breakbeats, rich harmonic tapestries, brutal bass lines and vocals with plenty of live fx. The band create all their music live in the moment using kaossilator pro loop stations, drum pads, iPad sequencers and synths and given the improvised nature of the music, no two performances will ever be the same. The band takes its name both from the chemical 'Dimetholtriptamine', which occurs naturally in the human brain inducing the dream state, and the combination of the initials of the two band members, 'David Moule' and 'Thoby Davis'.
