Manchester, United Kingdom
Presented by Ciaran Doyle, The Northern Quarter began life back in 2017 as a regular show on the eclectic Brighton-based radio station Platform B.
Tailgating its presenter up to sunny Manchester, the show has re-figured itself as a podcast in what some people's mums are calling the underdog story of the year.
In an attempt to showcase a pan-genre mix of music both old and new, The Northern Quarter will take you both shamelessly and seamlessly from Brian Eno to Olivia Newton John in mere seconds, if it so fancies.
