The Vision Project is currently a one man show lead by Jim Somers. Hailing from the Chicago northwest suburbs, Jim has been involved in music his entire life and active in the electronic scene for the last 15 years in and around Chicago. He worked most recently with friend and partner in crime Matt Nitz (Cytomorph) under the pseudonym Paradigm Minds and had a track released on Nookie's drum 'n bass label Strictly Digital. Moving into other genres, Jim has begun focusing on The Vision Project and producing drum 'n bass, house, and nu-jazz tracks as well as remixing some tracks from fellow Chicago musician Waltson and Pittsburgh based artist Stereo Hideout. The Vision Project is currently signed and under license by Trenchant Recordings.
