I attended Ron Bailie School Of Broadcast in San Francisco where I obtained a Certificate of Announcing,Production , Copywriting,and a First Class F.C.C. License so I could become a radio disc jockey. I started my career as a dj at U.C. Berkeley's radio station KALX-FM.I also was a dj on KUSF,KSFS and KTIM and did some work for KSAN before Metro Media turned them into a country station. While at KALX, I started using their remote recording equipment and began recording the local punk bands as well as bands from around the country & the U.K. I started doing a weekly live taping of bands at the Mabuhay Gardens which I broadcast on KALX and other Bay Area radio stations for a little over a year. I eventually branched out and started doing live sound for local bands as well as managing the Saucers & mixing for the Mutants and Earl Zero.
