Brenden cut his teeth in early 1990 when he stepped up his passion for Golden Age Hip Hop from breakdancer to DJ. The transition quickly helped hone his style of nifty cuts and scratches alongside seamless mixes that translated perfectly to adopt the bleep soundtrack of South and West Yorkshire. It wasn't long before he picked up slots on the Sheffield pirate airwaves on Klick FM and the legendary South Yorkshire Rave flagship Fantasy FM. Bren became a regular fixture on the local scene with a residency at the Sheffield Palais and warm up slots for Carl Cox, Shock C, RatPack and Top Buzz, whilst guest shows on SCR and Dance FM followed.
Despite a break on the decks his love for music has not waned. In recent years he has returned to DJing with a few select live sessions and guest slots on DJ Tat’s show on the Disco Balearic station Purple Radio. With a nod to Rave sensibilities, you’re likely to hear fresh cut Electro alongside dubbed out house and techno in his sets.
