The DJ, producer and musician Tatá Accioly (aka DJ TataOgan) researches and plays Brazilian, afro, regional, afro-Brazilian, contemporary MPB as well as underground electronic music, and has a very rich and vast music collection which also includes remix and composition work. Rarities of Brazilian music and organic sounds extracted from any instrument or object are transformed into hypnotic percussive elements, while electronic beats are a trademark of her music.
On her first album, ‘Da Raiz ao Chip’, TataOgan’s experimantations are based on deep research and immersion in the roots of Afro-Brazilian, indigenous folk music and primitive drums. The album features original compositions that bind rich organic sounds to electronic textures, with great grooves and experimentalism. The album mixes synthesizers with maracatu, coco and drum’n'bass, creating unusual sounds.
