In a city famous for its bustling nightlife, Montreal-born DJ/Producer, Taavi, is no stranger to the challenges of the house music circuit. The competitive market of his hometown equipped him with the perfect environment to carve out his musical prowess and make his way from bedroom DJ to local regular.
Having first become immersed in house music during a trip to Spain in 2009, Taavi’s experiences that summer would provide the foundations for his DJ career later that same year. Although recently beginning to explore the production aspects of house music, Taavi has continued to focus and build upon his DJing, opening for artists such as Avicii, Cazzette, Deniz Koyu and many more along the way.
His new podcast, Deeprave Radio, experienced a staggering launch, soaring to #4 overall on iTunes, ahead of personal heroes Armin van Buuren and Avicii. Taavi now splits his time between Montreal and Dublin, Ireland, where he’s gotten a first-hand taste of UK house as it explodes.
