Surf FM is Jersey's newest radio station. Launching initially, via the web, we'll be broadcasting the kind of music and shows that you won't get on Jersey's established stations.

• We know how important our listeners are so we intend to involve them with the station as much as possible.

• During the day we will only play Top 40 hits and chilled music to compliment the sublime way of life Jersey provides for our audience.

• During the night we will respond to the thirst for contemporary music by providing specialist shows of different genres of music. For example, Jersey has a reputation for its dance music and so we would provide a show during an evening playing only specific genre of dance music.

• We will have a couple of shows a week dedicated to listeners to give them a voice to discuss youth culture issues that affect them e.g. drugs, bullying, racism and sexual health. These are important factors when growing up especially to those who will be leaving the island to
