Starting back in 1995 when LP got his first LP, he linked with Nate Dawg, another fan of reggae music, and Supatone was born. After purchasing some second-hand equipment, they began playing house parties and recording audio tapes for friends. Soon after that, the pair voiced some local artists on dub and the sound began to grow.
While at University Nate Dawg launched his own reggae show, live on a Canadian College radio station, while also playing weekly dances at the local University club. At the same time LP continued to develop his passion for creating original mixtapes; with he and Nate Dawg collaborating on remixes that established their reputation worldwide.
Since then Supatone's talent and reuptation has grown leaps and bounds. They have enjoyed playing alonside such international DJs/Sounds as Bass Odyssey, Mighty Crown, David Rodigan, Black Chiney and many more. They now have one of the biggest dubboxes in Bermuda and are know as a sound that can play music
