Sunstruck Synapse is an audiovisual project built as an attempt to challenge the stigma around the “AI art” label. It argues that meaningful AI-assisted work is not magic, cheating, or a button press. Like any art form, it demands taste, intention, experimentation, technical learning, failure, revision, and a human point of view.
The project explores music, video, imagery, and storytelling made through AI-supported workflows while making the human creative process visible. A summer hit or video clip generated from a simple prompt may look miraculous, but without craft it is closer to pressing a demo button on a synthesizer than composing music. Sunstruck Synapse exists to explore the boundaries between automatic output and actual art, and to question where those borders should be drawn.
