Born and raised in San Francisco, DJ Sunny Z moved to LA living there for over a decade and became the resident host and DJ at one of LA’s top monthly events “Cali Hustle” in Silverlake alongside performing artist QVLN. DJ Sunny Z is admired for her eclectic style of song-selection bringing together Afrobeat, Soul, Samba, Reggae, Salsa, Reggaeton, Rock, Classic Hip Hop, and Funk just to name a few. 
She has also DJ'd for Los Angeles’ highly acclaimed annual New Year’s Eve event at The Virgil with international recording artist Quetzal Guerrero and Emmy Award winning DJ Jedi for several years in a row in addition to DJ'ing high profile events for LA's Mayor Eric Garcetti. Currently residing in Australia, she is an international lululemon brand Ambassador has been DJ'ing at wellness events and venues overseas. DJ Sunny Z loves to spin multiple-genre-spanning sets, opening up the audiences’ ears to a diverse plethora of sounds.
