Auckland, New Zealand
Born a Kiwi but raised in the UK, Paul was brought up on a sultry diet of John Peel, Hip hop and his Mother’s Motown collection. Buying and spinning since the heady-housey days of 1988 he has a wide taste for all things suitably nod-worthy; from deep disco, chuggy house and assorted tunes with an afro-eccentric nod.
Since returning to NZ in 2002 he has continued to follow his (somewhat) expensive passion for good music; with long-running shows on Wellington’s Radio Active; spreading sunshine at the Cuba Street Carnival and setting up Wellington’s long running 'Sundried' summer garden sessions.
Since the move to Auckland in 2007 he played regularly on George FM, 95BFM, and held a weekly show on BaseFM for 14 years; always sporting the B-sides with regular guests, ranting and records.
Today, he is now part of a community of fellow music lovers, and runs an independent online radio project Planet Sauce Radio. Touch base if you would like to get involved.
Music matters.
